About Collegiate Ambassadors for Peace (CAP)
CAP is part of a global network of student leaders representing the diversity of the human family. They stand on the common ground of shared principles and are committed to the path of promoting reconciliation, overcoming barriers, and building peace. The primary objective for the CAP initiative is first and foremost to create a caring community within the university compound. CAP appointees are encouraged to pursue personal excellence through challenging one’s limitations and to use their capacities for the greater good by promoting a life of service towards all aspects of life. CAP is initiated by Universal Peace Federation (UPF).

What Can You Do?
Help promote GPF to promote Peace:
- If you have your own website, you can help by adding a link to the Global Peace Festival site. The more people who see this site the more will become involved.
- Join the GPF on Facebook and Friendster. Invite your friends to do the same.
- Tell your friends about this Global Peace Festival site.
- Write blogs about peace promotion and put a link to our website. Send us a link of your blog and we will also link our website to your blog.
Be a volunteer, offer selfless service:
- We need many volunteers in our programmes, please fill up the form below and we will contact you shortly.
- Volunterism is a great way of self-development and experiential learning. You can be volunteer to prepare the programmes or be staffs during Global Peace Festival.
NGO/ University / College smart partnership
- If you are in NGO / University / College and you support the Global Peace Festival, email us your organisation logo and we will put it on our website.
- You can also work together with us in the programmes.
Sending Donations
- Join our campaign to raise funds for its Global Peace Promotion, sending single donation or other ways in which all people of goodwill can help to promote PEACE.

Rules and Regulations

a. Open to all Malaysians and Foreign visitors.
b. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules.
c. All the message must be in conjunction with Global Peace
2. Entries:-
a. Entries should be submitted to the published email address (info@upfmalaysia.org) or posted in GPF Facebook. Participants will need to register online in GPF Website (http://www.GPFMalaysia.org)
b. All entries must be submitted online.
c. When sending, include your name, entrant’s NRIC / passport number, entrant’s registered username and email address.
d. Contestants can send in as many entries as they wish. However, a participant can only win one (1) prize.
e. All entries submitted must be the original thought of the individual and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other competition.
f. Do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Participants must warrant that the messages they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
3. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend, delete or add to the above Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
4. In the events of discrepancy, the English version of the Rules and Regulations will prevail.
5. Assessment
a) The judging of this competition will be based on content in relation to the theme “Let’s Make Malaysia a Capital of Peace”.
b) The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
c) Winners will be notified by telephone or via email. Prizes must be collected personally.
d) Prize not collected within given time and date will be forfeited.
e) All weekly winners will be notified to attend prize giving ceremony. The cost of travelling will be borne by the winners.
f) GPF reserves the right to substitute the prizes with equivalent value.
g) By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow his/her name or photographs to be published on GPF websites and other media like newspapers, magazines, newsletter and other related medium.
h) Winners: Weekly winner.
6. Closing Date
The closing date of this competition is 16th October 2008.
By participating in this, participants agree to be bound by these rules and regulations as well as the decisions made by GPF and the panel of judges. The organizers have the right to substitute the prizes with equivalent value.

Volunteer workshop
Warm Greeting from Collegiate Ambassador for Peace (CAP)!!!
We are pleased to inform all students that CAP will be conducting Volunteer Workshop on 22-24 August 2008 at University Malaysia College. The workshop’s main focus is to inculcate clear mindset of volunteerism through living for the sake of others.
This workshop is one of the On-Going Programmes of Global Peace Festival 2008 Malaysia.
